Twilight Dinners 2015

You are invited to dine elegantly at traditional dinners or partake of adventurous lighter fare weekends in March, April, May and June. These gourmet dinners are donated by the hosts.  Of the $100 cost per guest, $60 is considered your tax deductible gift to the Centre County Women’s Resource Center.

The month of May, in Greek, has two meanings, the good and the bad, rebirth and death. The Festival of Flowers, or Anthesteria, a celebration in honor of Dionysus the God of theatre and parties, is held each year in Greece on May 1. The festival celebrates the final victory of the summer against winter. Join us for a Feast of Flowers, to celebrate the coming of spring!

With recipes inspired by Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Initiative, we will be cooking up some fun! Bring your children and enjoy cooking instruction by Chef Corr and nutritionist Jill Cox. Fun activities for the kids with some time to enjoy our creations.

Join us for an outdoor exploration of modern Peruvian dishes that maintain the authentic flavors and ingredients of Peru. Civeche’s, Causa, Chupe de camarones, and more. There will be some dishes that are spicy and some will contain raw fish.
