Poetry and Spoken Word Event

In commemoration of April as National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Centre County Women’s Resource Center and Webster’s Bookstore Café will be hosting a Poetry and Spoken Word event on April 25th, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Webster’s Bookstore Café at 133 E. Beaver Ave., State College, PA.

If you are interested in performing a poem themed around empowerment, sexual assault viewpoints, strength, courage, or hope, please email edteam@ccwrc.org.  All entries must be received before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18^th, 2015,as performances will be previewed and spaces are limited. All performers will be entered into drawings for prizes.
