Center for Changing our Campus Culture

A focus on prevention is integral to solving the issue of interpersonal violence on college campuses. Prevention works to stop violence before it happens by mobilizing community members to make changes at all levels of the social ecology. Effective strategies include engaging bystanders, shifting the social and cultural norms that currently help to sustain rates of violence, and reducing risk factors for perpetration and victimization, while strengthening protective factors. Find resources here to help campuses focus on prevention.
