Planned Giving

Consider the possibility of helping ensure that programs like transitional housing, prevention education, and emergency services continue to be available for years to come. Consider including the CCWRC in your will (known to some as leaving a bequest). Ensure that the work of empowering victims to become survivors will continue for decades to come.

Unrestricted bequest gifts will enable future boards of directors of the CCWRC to determine where your gift can have the greatest impact. You could, however, choose to direct a gift in your will to a particular program such as emergency services, prevention programs, or helping victims become survivors.

There are many other possible ways to include a gift for CCWRC in your plans. You might make CCWRC the beneficiary of a:

  • Bank account,
  • Insurance policy,
  • Investment portfolio
  • Charitable trust, or a
  • 401(k) or 403(b).

We know how important it is to ensure that if you make such a gift, it will be the right one for you (and your heirs). If you are considering making such a gift, we encourage you to speak with your financial and tax advisors before finalizing your plans.

If you would like more information about how to include the CCWRC in your will, please see the information below. You are also welcome to contact our office at  (814) 238-7066 or by email ccwrc@ccwrc.org
