April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Centre County Women’s Resource Center along with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Centre County, the Center County Children and Youth Services Agency, the YMCA of Centre County and the Youth Service Bureau will hold an event in honor of the victims of these crimes and in recognition of the work done by agencies, organizations and individuals that provide services to victims and their families. Members of our community who have “Made A Difference” in helping sexual assault and child abuse victims and in raising awareness about these issues will be recognized.
