Someone sent me an email asking me how they could pass a Xanax drug test for a new job. I decided to put this guide together to help anyone in that position and answer the question.

You also have to ask if you are “average”. Let me show you how wildly the elimination half-time can vary.
- Average person 11.2 hours
- Obese person 21.8 hours
- A person over 65 16.3 hours
- Person in poor health 15.3 hours
So as you can see, if you were an obese person aged 65 and in poor health, it could be as long as two days before a single dose was eliminated from the body, and you are unlikely to have taken a single dose.
On average, for Xanax urine test, a healthy person of around 40, taking a regular daily dose of it, who then stops, is going to be detectable in an average urine test for around five days, and possibly as long as 7-10 days.

The absolute best way to detox from Xanax is to do it naturally. It’s not that difficult to do, but you have to be rigorous:
- Stop taking all drugs
- Stop drinking alcohol
- The fit and healthy daily
- Make sure you sweat with exercise daily

- Brush your teeth every three hours
- Use mouthwash every three hours
- Chew gum constantly
- Drink water slowly and frequently
Doing the above will move things will move toxins out of your saliva more quickly, and stop the toxins lodging in the gum line.
